Hello, I’m Cindy — designer, creator, and the heart behind Evergreen Designs.

Evergreen Designs began in 2003 as a small venture with my husband, built around our shared love for gardening, green spaces, and nature. What started as a creative outlet from our full-time corporate careers, quickly became a way to help people transform their homes into peaceful retreats.

For more than a decade, we designed and created intimate landscape spaces— until an opportunity arose to create corporate gift baskets for a large company. Designing these gifts and hearing the heartfelt appreciation from recipients brought me incredible joy. It reminded me that thoughtful gifts like welcoming a new baby, wishing someone well during recovery, or offering comfort during bereavement, have the power to connect people in ways words sometimes cannot.

That experience led us to expand into specialty gift design, creating gourmet gift baskets for employee appreciation, retirements, and long-service milestones. Through it all, we kept our botanical roots alive by incorporating mini gardens, mixed planters, and terrariums— bringing a touch of nature into every gift we create.

During and after the 2019 pandemic, we witnessed something inspiring in Trinidad and Tobago — an incredible rise in local creativity and craftsmanship. Artisans began producing remarkable small-batch products with improved packaging, labelling, and food safety standards. It became clear to us that local products could truly stand alongside — and often surpass — imported options.

This discovery sparked a new direction for Evergreen Designs: creating gift experiences that celebrate the best of Trinidad and Tobago. Today, our baskets proudly feature local artisanal cocoa and chocolates, handcrafted jams, teas, coffee, and gourmet snacks — products rich in flavor, authenticity, and care. These small-batch creations offer a quality and taste that mass-produced imports simply cannot replicate.
